Welcome to St Christophers Catholic Primary School

St.Christopher’s is a Catholic school with one form entry for children aged 4 to 11 years.

Welcome to our website! St. Christopher's is a very special community. Jesus' instruction to 'love one another' permeates everything that happens here. There is a real sense of love, family and togetherness which is regularly commented on by visitors. We encourage all our children and families to live by our mission, "To aspire to be outstanding in every way, with Christ at the centre." This basically means that we all try to be the best people we can be, using the example and teachings of Jesus Christ as our guide.

Relationships between staff and pupils are very warm, just as they are among the pupils themselves. The children learn in a warm and nurturing environment that enables them to become resilient, take ownership of their learning and achieve high standards academically. In 2017, 72% of our Year 6 class achieved national expectations in reading, writing and maths combined.

We have very high expectations of behaviour and self-discipline and our happy children are always proud to be models and ambassadors for their school.

We aim for our children to become independent and resilient learners and well rounded human beings - prepared to tackle the challenges in later life and make a positive contribution.

I hope you find the information on this website helpful and informative. Feedback is always welcome if you have any suggestions as to how things can be improved.

If you are a prospective parent and would like a tour of the school, please contact the school office. We would be delighted to show you around.

God bless.

Mr Karl J. Babarczi
